Okay, no one else suggested anything, so the book choices for this month come straight from the Helen and Sharon show.

They are:

Captain Alatriste, by Arturo Perez-Reverte [translated into English](Sharon's Choice)

The poll will be appearing more or less around about now. Remember to vote for two books.

The Rules of Play

Book suggestions will be called for
If no one makes a suggestion, we'll steal a book suggested by another book club
If you're a blog poster, you can write up a review of the book - or of any book you've read that would be interesting. Anyone who wants can just leave a comment on someone else's post.
Members of the book club living in the same town can also meet over beverages to discuss the book in person, but this is in addition to the written component, not in lieu of it.
Or we could just meet for a run or go for a walk somewhere
You can also post reviews of places to walk or run, or comment on someone else's.
